Colony care is more than roll call. Sometimes the real work is a three-day antibiotic course, a landlord call, a supply run, or “get the tortie secured before Thursday’s clinic.” Sticky notes and group texts lose that work in the noise.
Do is now live in PurrView. Create a plan with Make-A-Do: a name, a due date, optional cats and custom checklist lines, and notes for who’s handling it. Check items off as you go. Mark the Do done when the work is finished—not when the phone is full of half-remembered threads.
What it is for
Multi-day treatments. Operational chores. General organization work that is not tied to one colony. A calm badge when something is overdue or due within the next eight local days—so cold-open PurrView still answers “what’s due soon?”
Completed plans stay visible for a short review window, then move to Archive so you can still look back without cluttering the active list.
What it is not
Do is not Today’s Visit, not Needs Pull, not Team chat, and not TNR Ops. Visits record who you saw. Needs Pull flags triage. Broadcasts announce. Trap night stays specialized. Do is the work you decide to finish—and can prove you finished.
How to try it
Open PurrView, tap Do, then Make-A-Do. Owners create and close plans; members can open Dos and check off items in the field. The User’s Manual has filters, badge rules, offline notes, and permissions. Field feedback is welcome at [email protected].
